Since 2006, Mariana Araoz has been developing her research around object theater, mask and puppets. In her approach, she often mixes professional and amateur performers on stage in the creative process, working through the themes of gender balance and  ecology.

Mission In-Visible

Mysterious disappearances have been noted: famous women have disappeared from books, paintings, media, street names. Five magical detectives: Elizabeth, Bart, Monique, Chantal and Fred and their budding detectives have the power to turn back time. They decide to solve this riddle.
It is the result of 5 years of research work in a theatrical laboratory with amateur and professional participants.

Venus Museum

A playful route that retraces the history of women: two guides lead the public through statues. We will cross the ages through Ancient Greece, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. A walking show resulting from the experience between the study of the mask, gender and the body. This creation is born from exchanges between young people from the City of Colombes (CSC des Fossés Jean) and young people from the City of Varberg in Sweden (Halland Regional Theater).
